Description
Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Assist with meal preparation and planning.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with food service as needed.
Skills:
- Having experience in both authentic Cambodian cuisine and fusion Cambodian cuisine
- Proven experience as a cook or similar role.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper cooking temperatures.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, ensure the quality service and keeping up with the cleanliness standard
- Ability to consistently work fast as well as under pressure and multitask
- Ability to work as a team and coordinate with other employees
- Being punctual and reliable
Salary:
$20.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)
Language:
- English or French (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
