A career in project management, IT coordinator at the National Bank, means participating in the transformation to have a direct impact on the client.

As a Project Manager - IT Coordinator, it means working in a dynamic environment that allows you to surpass yourself while creating strong collaborative links across several sectors of the Bank.

More specifically, your role in the team will be to:

  • Lead large-scale projects as Project Manager, Coordinator (IT) in collaboration with the project manager on the building management side.
  • You will have to work to optimize costs during project deployments
  • Work in collaboration with the various internal IT stakeholders necessary for the delivery of the various mandates, as well as our partners and suppliers.
  • Act as Technological Coordinator for the various IT solutions and ensure their realization as well as the implementation is done according to the planned architecture.
  • Set up some of the elements to be configured during deployment or the situation allows it.
  • Promote industry tools and integrate the Bank's best practices in project management.


You must have a good understanding of technical concepts, excellent attention to detail, data analysis, strong verbal and written communication skills, and be self-motivated and work with a high sense of urgency and high level of 'integrity.

Your main mission will be to deliver mandates that will affect several aspects of IT including telecommunications, network, videoconferencing rooms, UPS, security cameras, telephony, etc.

You will act as a leader in your area of expertise affecting the various IT solutions and will support the architects in achieving the Bank's strategic objectives, thus optimizing the quality of services and operations.

Competencies required:

  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity or five to ten years of relevant experience
  • Significant experience in IT infrastructure and building project management.
  • Excellent relational skills and ability to influence stakeholders at different levels (technical, senior management, client, etc.) both orally and in writing.
  • Rigor and autonomy, focused on results in time and meeting budgets with a concern for quality assurance.
  • Available to travel in Canada and the United States according to assignments
  • Desirable PMP or Scrum Master title.
  • French and English bilingualism (spoken/written) necessary, because you will regularly deal with partners located across Canada and the United States.
