During the Brescia Bold Leadership Institute weeks (Sunday July 23rd - Friday July 28th & Sunday
July 30th - Friday August 5th) the Programs Coordinator may be required to work additional hours
beyond the standard camp day (i.e. evenings and weekends) to accommodate the needs of the
residential camp. The Programs Coordinator will also be required to live in Clare Hall to supervise
and be on-call in case of emergencies.

**Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to Brescia University College graduates.
  • Minimum 1year experience working with children and youth in a
teaching/leadership/camp capacity.

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy environment, demonstrating initiative,
flexibility and reasoning.

  • Ability to work without direct supervision and take initiative on projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous leadership and teamwork experience is essential, including supervisory and
administrative skills.

  • Previous experience in the Brescia Food Labs an asset.
  • International/intercultural experience an asset.
  • Required to provide a valid Vulnerable Sector Check and valid first aid and CPR, by June
1st, 202- A valid driver's license.

  • This job is supported by the Canada Summer Jobs grant. Applicants must meet the

eligibility criteria of this grant:
be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the
employment period; be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom
refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
for the duration of the employment; and have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start
of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant
provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
