SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager will have a primary focus on end-user clients in the hospitality and multi-unit restaurants segments, and on dealers in the Central Canada markets to achieve their plan.
They will manage existing accounts, develop new business, and ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Manage and grow sales within a designated territory by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with existing distributors and endusers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with our products and services
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and developing relationships with potential customers
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers to showcase the benefits and features of our products
- Provide high level customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Reporting preparing, submitting reports as requested/required.
- Maintain pipeline and other reports as required
- Provide schedule of customer visits to management as requested
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Sales Experience, Food Service and/or Tabletop preferred
- Provide examples of a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and growing revenue
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Selfstarter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Sharing knowledge with others on the team
- Ability to travel 50% within the assigned territory with some overnights stays, attend conferences and other industry events
- Bilingual preferred (French)
- Residing in the GTA area
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor's degree in Business is preferred but not required.
- 2 years Key account sales and sales management experience in the Foodservice Tabletop industry
- Must have experience managing sales activities for multiple Foodservice Distributors.
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
