Allied is looking for a Building Operator to join our Technical Services team in Toronto.In the role of Building Operator you will contribute meaningfully to your team's culture and ensure our portfolio is performing well in terms of building systems physical attributes and curb appeal. Above all you are excited by Allied's mission and the contribution we make enhance urban environments What will do oversee enforce service contracts ensuring service levels met contractors properly supervised on site Perform regular inspections maintenance minor repairs on building systems equipment including mechanical electrical HVAC/BAS water treatment boilers heat pumps rooftop units air conditioning systems Complete daily periodic equipment readings document irregularities maintain accurate maintenance logs ensure systems remain good working order Respond tenant requests preventive maintenance tasks service calls timely manner coordinate document work through Yardi FM Conduct regular interior exterior roof inspections arranging or performing repairs required filters belts lighting plumbing painting drywall housekeeping common areas Coordinate schedule approved maintenance repairs replacements subcontractors as needed Ensure building signage lighting common areas mechanical rooms equipment clean safe maintained Carry out supervise preventative maintenance programs collaborate internal departments support smooth building operations Assist seasonal building operations snow removal salting landscaping irrigation Monitor test life safety systems fire alarms sprinklers security systems fire protection assist testing drills
Ensure compliance health safety security government regulations reporting risks deficiencies promptly Maintain accurate emergency contact lists life safety procedures fire safety plans Support budgeting inventory management after-hours response required Perform other related duties assigned
