Raptor Mining Products is looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Barrie, ONT. This position is responsible for the production, management and safety of our team. We need someone with an exceptional commitment to Health and safety, quality, and customer service results. This facility is a busy welding and manufacturing facility with many different processes happening within close proximity.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Manage a team of 4 office and 15 shop staff
Plan, Organize and direct day to day operations
Ensure safety program is maintained and followed
Ensure ISO procedures are maintained and followed
Review open orders and manufacturing requests daily
Recruit, manage and develop plant staff
Conduct performance reviews of all plant staff. Including all Disciplinary actions
Liaise with vendors to discuss pricing, delivery, quality, etc...
Create and follow existing maintenance plans for equipment
Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Other duties as required

Skills/Experience Requirements:

35 years experience managing a team in a industrial/shop environment

- mechanical or welding experience is an asset
- millwright or experience fixing and maintaining industrial machining and welding equipment is an asset
