Description

Centrally located in the GTA, Viscor is a division of Leviton Manufacturing's Lighting Business Unit operating in Canada for over 70 years.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Full cycle accounts receivable functions
Daily Cash Deposits
Daily Invoicing
Outbound collection calls on past due balances to decrease outstanding receivables
Reconcile customer accounts
Liaising with internal departments such as sales team to resolve customer disputes
Conducting credit checks and performing credit analysis
Prepare and analyze AR ageing reports and other ad hoc reports
Work with internal departments to provide recommendations on collection strategies
Cross train on other accounting functions to assist with coverage as may be required from time to time
Perform other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications:

University Degree or College Diploma in a qualified Accounting Program
3 years Accounts Receivable experience in a medium to large organization, manufacturing company preferred
Attentive to detail and accurate
Ability to analyze data
Experience with ERP system; Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred
Ability to communicate effectively; advanced communication skills, both verbal and written
Fluent in English
