Here's the role


The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes for the business and monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.

This role will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting business and market data sets, designing and implementing data models, and developing business intelligence solutions to provide valuable insights that will guide strategic and tactical business decisions.

The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business requirements, create dashboards, and provide actionable recommendations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze business and market data, identify trends and patterns, and present findings in a clear actionable manner using statistical methods and data visualization tools.
  • Perform data diagnostics on product performance, sales trends, and customer behavior.
  • Utilize and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g. Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.
  • Build predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques to forecast business trends and support sales, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance model to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular updates and insights on emerging trends and potential opportunities from changes in market dynamics, economic indicators, and regulatory changes in the industry.
  • Evaluate key marketing metrics, such as conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and return on investment. Provide insights to optimize marketing strategies for better performance.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product managers, sales, marketing, and pricing, to align data analysis with business objectives.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by regularly auditing and validating datasets working with IT and other relevant departments to enhance data collection processes and systems.

  • Strong understanding of customer segments, insurance markets and the competitive landscape, coupled with the capability to provide sound business recommendations based on the analysis of data from these sources.

Your must haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in data analytics, business, and market intelligence.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, data visualization tools such as Power BI, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Familiar with SQL, Python, or similar data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
