Jim Pattison Chrysler Jeep Dodge has an opportunity for a full-time Parts Wholesaler to join our team


Job Description Summary:


Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.

As a Parts Advisor, you must be self-motivated, high energy, a team player and results-oriented with a proven track of customer service excellence.


Responsibilities:


  • Promptly meet and greet parts customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Listen to customers' reasons for requesting certain parts and accessories.
  • Offer appropriate parts or accessories to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Provide accurate quotes for all parts or accessories recommended.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure all parts are inspected upon arrival and any damages noted.
  • Process returns regularly based on the required guidelines.
  • Efficiently provide parts to technicians for vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Contact potential new wholesale customers and ask for business.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately maintained.
  • Attend training courses as directed by Parts management.

Experience:


  • Experience with ordering, tracking and stocking required.
  • Forwardfacing customer service experience or sales experience.
  • Automotive parts experience is an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Technical Skills:


  • Experience with DMS software such as CDK an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with ease.
