    Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) is focused on providing top-quality care to Canadians in various home and community settings.

    We are in search of a Pediatric Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatric therapy care in the South Simcoe County Community. This role offers a Full-Time Salaried position within our School-Based Rehabilitation Program (SBRS), serving complex core clients in schools and homes, and URS consulting.

    Our Pediatric Occupational Therapists are assured of an annual salary along with a consistent schedule during the school year. This position offers a perfect balance for those seeking a challenging environment to enhance their therapy skills and uplift the wellness of pediatric patients.

    We are looking for a Full-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist comfortable working in Barrie, Orillia, and surrounding regions.

    What the role entails:

    • Supporting a Tiered Model school-based rehabilitation program by assessing and creating client and family-focused therapy care plans based on students' developmental needs
    • Providing therapy to complex pediatric clients in homes and schools, addressing developmental, safety, and functional requirements
    • Acting as an advocate for pediatric clients, building partnerships between families, schools, and local healthcare systems to ensure successful engagement in school and community activities

    Skills required for success:

    • Current active registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
    • Preferably previous Pediatric experience
    • ADP Authorizer certification or willingness to be trained
    • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
