Lead team for, evaluations, and prioritizing Help Desk requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer related technologies.
Budget, manage and deliver IT Services portfolio.Manage MSP's and other vendors.
Research, plan and roll out new technology deployments to office and remote users.
Manage team to meet delivery deadlines for various endeavours including after hours as required.
Track and analyze trends in desktop support requests and incidents and generate statistical reports.
Liaise and communicate with Business/IT staff and stakeholders for all on-going issues, queries, and statuses.
Collaborate on IT Department and Business Department projects when necessary.
Implement quality processes in desktop support and meet specific targets/key performance indicators while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Work with other departments to ensure that IT team meets or exceeds all Service Level ObjectivesMaintain/establish training programs and SOP's for staff members.
Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of seven (7) years of direct work experience in an I.T. management capacity required in a medium to large enterprise.
At least 5 years of direct experience managing and coaching a team of IT professionals.
Proven experience in managing I.Strong direct knowledge of billing systems, I.T. infrastructure, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, MS IAM, Office 365, InTune, Entra ID, Azure and cybersecurity.
Minimum 7 years direct experience configuring and supporting an Office 365 tenant or large Exchange environment.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server).
Microsoft Certifications around MS 365, Azure, Teams and Security are preferred or equivalent experience.
Strong Apple Macbook corporate management experience including use of MDM like JAMF
Good collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Strong knowledge of networking, operating system, cloud services, and server architectures.
Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences.
Strong evidence of time management skills required, including ability to prioritize critical tasks.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent project management skills
Strong understanding of cybersecurity.
