Are you a proven leader in the food & beverage industry and provide outstanding customer service, then we may have the opportunity for you as Assistant Concession Manager at IG Field.

IG Field is host to many world-class events including Winnipeg Blue Bombers games, Valour FC games, concerts in addition to many other.

As the Assistant Concession Manager you will assist with the Concession Manager in oversight of all concessions employees, activities and events at IG Field.

You will work alongside the Food & Beverage management team to execute our food beverage operations on day to day basis.

What you Will Do:

Supervise and delegate task to warehouse team
Assist in hiring all concession staff
Training and Orientations for all concession staff
Planning, assigning, and coaching employees, and nonprofit groups
Ensuring that concessions stands are properly stocked and staffed for all events
Monitoring/improving labour costs and budget goals and maintaining all concession equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance
Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must
The position is very handson and will require you to work directly with staff and fans during events
Assist with Inventory management/counting
Work all Blue Bomber games, Valour FC Games, and small events that take place at IG Field
In the offseason, December through March will assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must Haves:

Requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage
Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
Experience with staff training is an asset
Strong focus towards customer service and ability to lead and coach staff members
Resultsoriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
Food Handlers Certificate
