    Human Resources Assistant

    The Human Resources Assistant duties will vary depending on the HR team to which the Human Resources Assistant is assigned.

    Provide administrative and technical support to HR Advisors, Leaders, and others on the HR team.
    # Administer HR programs, assigned projects, and assist in conducting HR-specific processes.
    # Provide CER staff and leaders with information concerning HR programs, services, and systems.
    # Maintain and update HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity; Assist in project managing staffing processes and HR projects, events, meetings, or programs.

    Completion of post-secondary education in a related field or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
    E1 Experience performing a variety of routine and non-routine administrative tasks in a high-volume environment.
    # E3 Experience in MS Office applications (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).

    *Experience refers to depth and breadth associated with having performed the administrative function. The amount, the complexity and the diversity of handled files, as well as the autonomy level may also be taken into consideration.
    Asset Qualifications
    # AQ1 Experience providing support services in one or more of the HR disciplines such as performance management, staffing, employee relations, compensation, classification, organizational development, organizational health, and safety.
    # AQ2 Experience supporting programs, services, and initiatives for equity-seeking groups such as persons with a disability, Indigenous peoples*, racialized persons, women, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
    # AQ3 Experience in providing administrative support in Human Resources in the Federal Public Service.
