In your role as Administrative Assistant, HLBC (HealthLink BC) at The North West Company (NWC) you will Assist with the Operations and Reporting needs of Pharmacist Services Team working in conjunction with Operations Services Lead, HLBC to meet service quality and contractual obligations to HLBC.

The individual will also support the Pharmacy Contracts banner of North West Telepharmacy Solutions.

Your Role:


  • Ensure Privacy of client is protected at all times;
  • Ensure NTS meets all HealthLink BC contractual obligations;
  • Maintain regular communication with Pharmacist Services Lead, senior management, staff and HealthLink BC;
  • Update and maintain the NTS-HLBC Leads Manual, Policy and Procedures [Team Resource] Manual;
  • Coordinate with new employee credentials and documentation in collaboration with Pharmacist Services Lead, HR, and senior management;
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of initial, ongoing, and updated training and participate in the delivery of required training;
  • Coordinate the schedule and location for training as needed;
  • Generate and submit all monthly reports as specified in the Leads Manual
  • Review data with the Pharmacist Services Lead for continuous quality improvement.
  • Prepare pharmacist schedule as outlined in the Leads Manual
  • Arrange pharmacist coverage in case of illness or emergency
  • Coordinate followup with IT department or other service provider for any service interruptions
  • Complete regular payroll for all team members as specified in the Leads Manual
  • Coordinate equipment or supply needs for all team members.
  • Coordinate project services for NTS initiatives as requested

Desired Skills & Experience:


  • A minimum of 2 years prior administrative experience require.
  • Experience with customer service and managing customer inquiries.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Efficient time management, organization prioritization skills are required.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Possess administrative and documentation skills, and have proficiency with reporting tools and databases.
  • Works well under pressure and time constraints.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Must be located in BC within a 2hour drive of Vancouver or Victoria.
