THE COPYWRITER
WILL.
Create clever, creative, impactful copy to live across all brand touchpoints at SAXX.

Reporting to the Copy Manager, this role will work alongside the brand, product, ecommerce, and digital marketing teams to ensure our copy champions the SAXX voice, meets business objectives, and supports consistent brand experience across all channels.

The Copywriter champions the brand voice, delivers copy on time and to the highest standards to elevate the SAXX brand and connect with our target audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Assisting with naming seasonal products and incorporating technology for a diverse range of underwear and apparel styles.
Working cross functionally with relevant departments and teams (graphic design, digital marketing, etc.) to ensure our marketing assets deliver clear and effective messages.
Working with the product team to translate technical specifications into meaningful product benefits and messages our customers will immediately understand.
Championing the brand voice our tone, humor, style and execute accordingly.
Editing and proofreading content produced by other team members and partners as required.
Presenting work and build alignment around copy execution with key crossfunctional stakeholders.
Interpreting creative feedback and data to inform versions through a multiiterative copy production process.
Establish effective communication lines with key stakeholders.
Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to effectively manage your own workload and ensure you meet your deadlines inline with the production calendar.
Identifying key cultural trends, moments, and conversations to inform brand messaging and copy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
2+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in a consumer products category.
Strong copywriting skills and razorsharp wit, demonstrated by a portfolio of writing samples.
Ability to function professionally at the highest standard in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to present and pitch your work to senior management.
Highly detail oriented you notice the smallest nuances of grammar that others would miss.
Expert storyteller your imagination can turn a pair of underwear into a page turner.
Sense of humor you're going to be writing a lot about balls.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to manage your own workload to meet production deadlines.
Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple projects.
