Prospect 33 is hiring Data Analysts to join our team in Canada. You will gain valuable experience working alongside our client in their Reconcilations team.


Responsibilities include:
Current state analysis of reconciliation data, format and structure

  • Analysis of formatting, column structure and data availability across reconciliations
  • Analysis of alternative internal data sources to understand relationships and correlation to reconciliation (i.e. client, trade and security data)
  • Deliver clear and concise findings, pinpointing data gaps and reconciliation inconsistencies and areas of opportunity for data enrichment
  • Capture reconciliation data enhancements in the form of Jira ticket
Current state analysis of external data feeds

  • Analysis of formatting, data structure and data availability across priority SWIFT data feeds
  • Analyze and articulate areas of opportunity utilizing patternmatching techniques
  • Deliver clear and concise findings, pinpointing opportunities for data enrichment focusing on enhancing reconciliation match rates and efficiency of break identification
  • Capture reconciliation data enhancements in the form of Jira ticket
Current state analysis of management reporting

  • Analyze existing reporting across regions and platforms and document regional and data inconsistencies
  • Analyze existing reconciliation data lifecycle and associated report outputs/data extracts to identify areas of enhanced KPIs
  • Deliver a scalable BI solution taking into account enhanced data points

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Financial services experience
  • Background in data analysis
  • Experience with BI solutions and visualizations
  • Highly detailoriented and comfortable with large amounts of data
  • Experience in data dealing with structured and unstructured data, data mining and data analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL
  • Strong background in quantitative analysis
  • Strong drive and desire to understand relationship of organizational components

Pay:
$37,821.61-$96,368.12 per year
