Compensation:
$47,300/year, merit-based increase, on-site amenities

You will share your expertise by:

Developing creative marketing tactics and strategies, action plans and campaign objectives to achieve project goals and increase engagement with teachers and students
Contributing outofthebox concepts and ideas to grow new audiences and retain current ones
Tracking and reporting digital analytics
Developing exciting and engaging communications and public relation pieces to teachers that position Science North as a leader and trusted source in the education realm
Assisting with sourcing, evaluating and adding to the revenue generating programs of education
Leading media relations strategies and plans to proactively promote Science North's education department
Liaising with the education department and marketing to create social media content including the production of TikTok videos
Writing news releases
Writing, editing and creating content for our monthly enewsletter
Coordinating and developing marketing tactics for education trade shows
Managing the education marketing calendar

You will join us with:

Marketing or communications background and/or related experience relevant to the position requirements
Experience in creating unique marketing strategies
Superior organizational skills, time management and attention to detail

Exceptional communication skills

Demonstrated proficiency in clear language copy, editing and proofreading
Experience in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) is an asset
Proficiency in Windows operating system, MS Office
A willingness and ability to work occasional weekends and/or evenings to oversee events as coordinated by the Marketing department

Compensation details:

This is a full-time opportunity ending March 2024 (est. 16 months)

Starting salary $47,300 to $50,000 per year
