Job Brief:

Your role is to develop relationships with grocers and through merchandising activities, promote the consumption and sale of the brand.

The Opportunity:
MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST - LONDON TERRITORY**
15-18 HRS/WEEK

Position Summary:

Your role is to help promote our client's products and presence in grocery stores across your region through a variety of merchandising activities.

Through your higher-performer personality, you will ensure that the brand is executed at the highest level at the outlets you cover.

In order to do this, you will need to deliver on the call coverage objectives, increase distribution & visibility of the marketing materials, execute brand priorities and build relationships with key store contacts, said differently:

What You Will Be Doing Every Day:

Build rapport and communicate with Produce and/or Department managers
Recommend/sell in merchandising and display ideas
Enthusiastically promote the benefits of the brand
Share crossmerchandising and display ideas and photos with Department Managers
Merchandise and Measure
Record the display type/location of key products being tracked
Plan, strategically place and record all POS (point of sale material)
Maximize POS placement on products (professionally/not overdone) throughout the store entrances, checkout counters, other departments (i.e. meat, deli, bakery, dairy, grocery bread, as appropriate)
Remove/replace outdated or damaged POS as necessary and dispose in an environmentally responsible manner
Execute special projects, surveys as scheduled by the client or your Manager
Share creative merchandising insights with team members/Manager

Your Experience:

You have previous sales and/or merchandising experience, preferably in the grocery channel.

If not in the grocery channel, don't worry, as long as you share the same values, we can teach you all you need to know once you're on board.
