Our Western Canada Field Services Operations is looking for experienced Regional Manager to lead our Industrial Cleaning Team in Fort McMurray.

This position will report to the Alberta General Manager and will be based in Fort McMurray.

Key Accountabilities
P&L Responsibility for the Industrial Cleaning team in FMM consisted of Dredging, Pressure &Vacuum and Chemical Cleaning.
Work with the Operations Managers on annual budget preparation as well as monthly / quarterly updates for reforecasting.
Management of permanent crews and Supervisors by monitor day-to-day activities

A considerable amount of time would be required in the field ensuring customer satisfaction and that the work is being performed at a high level of professionalism while maintaining a paramount regard for safe work performance in accordance with GFL's practices and customer's expectations.

Perform job site walks on certain scopes with the respective operations manager or site supervisor to confirm adequate resources have been recognized for work execution including people, equipment and materials needs
Work with the Business Development team and the Operations Managers to develop bids, project costing and method statements for review by peers and the General Manager before submission to clients
Work with support groups such as HSE, admin and shut down plans team to ensure resources and majors scopes and shutdown are planned effectively
Develop strong customer relationships by having regular interaction with them to provide progress updates, trouble shooting and work scope identification and follow up meetings
Ensure all operational documentation is submitted daily and is clear, concise, and complete. Provide coaching as required to operation managers to ensure administration expectations are being meet.
Work to determine potential new customers for the region as well what additional work we can be doing for existing customers
Assist with meeting the financial goals of Western Canada field services through and the managing non-billable/non-productive time.

Delegate responsibilities and activities to operations managers and field supervisors during work scope execution to help engage and enhance team members.

Responsible to follow up on all delegated items/tasks and hold team members accountable.
Open two-way communication with field staff through regular project update meetings, and one on one information sharing or coaching.
Timely reporting of work-related accidents/incidents and be part of the incident investigation team.

Oversee pre-job mobilization and demobilization; liaise with customer representatives before, during and after job while ensuring quality control measures are effectively implemented.

Participate in monthly P&L reviews and provide details to support plus or minus variances
Develop annual budgets related to the region.

Provide leadership, strategic direction and vision for future growth and development by ensuring that employees are informed, aligned and accountable.

Manage the regional expenses related to the business to ensure that predicted levels of profitability are realized.

Experience, Qualifications & Education

Minimum 10-year previous experience as a Manager / Senior leader or Project Manager
Highly motivated and self-starter
Ability to work with mínimal management in a team environment
Strong computers skills (proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word.
Strong communication and interpersonal Skills
Extensive experience in relationship building both internally and externally
Ability to supervise the development work execution plans, job scopes, pricing, method statements, planning with durations and understanding.
Willingness to take direction and work effectively in stressful situations
Ability to multitask and adapt to new working environments
Experience in Managing multiple job tasks and people
Proven knowledge of business and management principles, strategic planning and, leadership techniques.
Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety.
The following areas of experience would be considered a strong asset
Understanding of oil and gas process facilities and applicable cleaning methods
Existing Strong customers relationships
Experience working in the Fort MacMurray Region
