SUMMARY


The CLBPA is a comprehensive language assessment with in-person and online processes designed for placement of immigrants into government-funded language training classes.

The CLBPA will eventually replace the CLBA and CLBPT as the core language assessment used across Canada.

The Project Coordinator will oversee the development and production of new CLBPA forms and liaise with contracted services as needed.

The Coordinator also plays a key role in pilot testing.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Monitor work plans and schedule tasks to meet project deliverables
  • Coordinate, schedule and support activities related to pilot testing
  • Ensure that activities are completed in accordance with requirements and company policies
  • Oversee and monitor work completed by contractors
  • Supervise administrative assistant in the delivery of services and pilot testing
  • Orient administrative assistant on the CLBPA platform
  • Work closely with the team to ensure online integration of test and reporting enhancements for a stable, functional system
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing for the platform in each sprint as defined by IT
  • Assist with training sessions as needed
  • Prepare status reports and provide ongoing follow up
  • Provide updates to management for narrative reports
  • Assist/collaborate with National Online Self-Assessment [NOSA] project as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by Project Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Postsecondary degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in areas such as project coordination, test development, online assessment and learning
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
  • Training and certification in CLBbased language assessments preferred
  • Experience dealing with subcontracted services preferred
  • Project management experience an asset
  • Knowledge of technology platforms and online learning
  • Solid background and familiarity with Canadian Language Benchmarks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet research, video conferencing
  • Demonstrated initiative with proven ability to work collaboratively
  • A high degree of English language proficiency, both oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to different sites for testing
**This position is eligible for hybrid status.
