Barrie Regional Glass is locally owned and operated with over 30 years of experience.We offer full service glazing and aluminum installations of curtain wall, store fronts, window walls, punched / fixed windows, entry systems, along with interior glazing, glass balustrades, custom residential showers, replacement units, and custom cut glass and mirrors.
We are looking to hire for a _Project Coordinator/Front Desk_ position.As a small business, multi-tasking is essential and your skills will be utilized in a number of ways to meet the needs of the company.
Duties, Front Desk:
- Welcome customers at counter, and provide information as required.
- Schedule site measures, installs, and service calls.
- Prepare quotes/estimates on frameless glass shower enclosures, custom cut glass, insulated glazing units, etc.
- Process sales transactions
- General office tasks as required.
Duties, Project Coordinator:
- Place purchase orders with vendors and verify sales orders.
- Assist project manager with maintaining project schedules.
- Communicate with contractors.
- Read and interpret job bid instructions and detailed specifications for preparation of estimates.
- Work alongside estimator to write up quotation letters and prepare bidding documents.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required

Education:
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
Experience:
- administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
