Travel allowance available for workers outside 50km range of the site.
Responsibilities
- Flagging and spotting during offloading structural steel with telehandlers or cranes.
- Assist in Preassembly, rigging and hoisting of wall bents and roof bay lifts.
- Stick build steel erection.
- Bolt up, plumbing and impacting.
- Rigging and signaling telehandlers and cranes.
- Torch cutting and grinding.
- Tacking and welding.
- Ensuring the safety of yourself, your crew and equipment is held to the highest standards.
- Ability to inspect your work and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Fall Protection certificate.
- Must possess a valid Arial work certificate.
- Must possess a valid CSTS 09 or 20 certificate.
- An indentured apprentice is an asset.
- Physically capable of performing all tasks required of field Ironworkers.
Work Conditions
- Must be able to comfortably work at heights.
- Work will be primarily outdoors in winter and various weather conditions.
