    Description: The Respiratory Therapist fulfills clinical, technical, and administrative responsibilities within the Respiratory Services department. The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides oxygen therapy, cardio/respiratory equipment monitoring, assessment, and treatment of cardio/respiratory and associated disorders. This role is crucial to maintaining or restoring ventilation and conducting diagnostic procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
    • Registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO)
    • Certifications in BCLS, NRP, ACLS, and anesthesia technology
    • Proficiency in ventilation, spirometry, arterial blood gas collection, and related procedures
    • Positive attitude, effective communication, and ability to work independently
    • Knowledge of Indigenous culture and additional certifications preferred
    • Willingness to participate in on-call schedule and maintain strong attendance record
