We have an immediate opening for a permanent full time
Support Services Supervisor. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Support Services Supervisor is responsible for the front-line supervision of Nutrition and Environmental Services employees, day-to-day operations, meal service production and delivery, and ensures the safety and efficiency of operations of assigned work areas.

The Support Services Supervisor assumes responsibility for the department in the absence of the Director.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Completion of nutrition postsecondary degree (preferred) from a post secondary institution.
Completion of an Advanced Food Safety Certification and HACCP Training.
Experience preferred in a health care setting and unionized environment.
Managerial skills and experience to assume all responsibilities inherent with the position as delegated by the Director of Operations.
Time management and problemsolving skills.
Must display flexibility and innovation and ability to adapt to varying situations.
Must be a team player with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Able to adapt to software upgrades as required.
Experience with Staff Schedule Care or electronic scheduling systems.
