Job Overview:


As a Project Supervisor, you will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and assist in liaising between Keewaytinook Okimakinak and government ministry, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise project teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate resources and allocate tasks to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, identify challenges, and brainstorm solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational policies.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Education, Business)
  • Proven experience in project supervision, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • PMP certification or equivalent would be considered a plus.
  • Previous experience working with First Nations Communities considered a plus.
Contract position until March 31, 2025- with possibility of renewal.
