    You'll Do:

    Play a crucial role in executing IT procurement efforts across North America. Your responsibilities will include managing the company's supply of IT products, licenses, and services.

    • Create purchase orders (POs) from approved purchase requisitions (PRs), communicate POs to vendors, and track orders.
    • Handle procurement requests through the ServiceNow ticket system.
    • Provide support to requesters - Training, coding, returns, and other details.
    • Assist Accounting with invoice related inquiries.
    • Assist with maintaining software licenses and monitoring compliance.
    • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers.

    You have:

    • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
    • Eagerness to make a positive impact
    • Bachelor's degree in procurement, business, finance, or a related field would be preferred.
    • 1-2 years of previous experience in IT procurement or purchasing
    • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
    • Strong attention to detail; ability to work with numbers quickly and accurately
    • A systematic approach to problem-solving and implementing solutions
    • Experience in evaluating vendors based on price, quality, and availability
    • Effective negotiation and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office 365.

    Your Workplace Location:

    • Preference is Quesnel, BC but would consider Vancouver, BC as an alternative location

    Our highly competitive compensation package includes:

    • Competitive base salary with annual bonus opportunity
    • Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays
    • The salary range for this position is usually between $70,000 - $82,000 depending on skills and experience.
