Description

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the
Line Cook will be responsible for preparing made to order breakfast items, omelets, lunch and dinner.

Your main responsibilities include prep, understanding the execution of orders, preparing dishes according to recipes, restocking, and keeping your station clean.

Strong organizational skills, team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment are all requirements.


Responsibilities:


  • Adhere to prep lists and company standards
  • Understand POS generated orders
  • Execute dishes according to recipes in a timely manner and with the highest standards for quality
  • Respect health and safety procedures
  • Respect restocking par levels
  • Close and clean station according to restaurant standards
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and chef

Requirements:


  • Must be fluent in English or French.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fastpaced environment
  • Has an excellent understanding of time management
  • A positive and collaborative team player attitude
  • Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of the shift
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Salary:
$20.64-$23.10 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pointe-Claire, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
