What you'll be doing:
Are you an events professional with a passion for keeping donors inspired? Do you have a track record of creating meaningful experiences for donors?


SHN Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our team in the new role of Donor Events & Recognition Officer.

Reporting to the Director of Stewardship & Donor Engagement, you will support the development of donor recognition opportunities and the production of an array of inspiring in-person, virtual and hybrid events to steward donors.

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 annually, dependent on experience

Responsibilities:


Your responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of all inperson, virtual and hybrid recognition, stewardship and cultivation events such as namings, announcements, ground breakings, grand opening, unveilings, cheque presentations, dinners, and tours.
  • Lead event logistics, including the development of event communications collateral, liaise with vendors, event registration, communicating with physicians and event speakers, set up and teardown of events, event execution and postevent followup.
  • Work with the Manager, Stewardship to ensure all aspects of donor recognition are implemented, including facilitating donor recognition signage installation across the Network, updating the donor walls, liaising with vendors to coordinate the development of mockups and shop drawing and tracking all signage in Raiser's Edge.
  • Project management for video projects to thank and celebrate donors; including contributing to creative oversight of the project, scripting, storyboarding, shooting and editing.
  • Create special stewardship and recognition touches, including birthday and holiday outreach as well as creative and meaningful gifts.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities for event delivery, ensuring that an accurate record of all events is held on the database. Ensure the maintenance of uptodate donor records and lists, including in the organization's CRM platform, Raiser's Edge.
