Alberta Health Services is currently looking for a Staffing Services Manager to lead their South Zone Staffing Services team.


Description:


Reporting to the Director, Central and South Zone Staffing Services, the Staffing Services Manager is accountable for performance results, organization and direction of a dynamic Administrative Support team that includes Schedulers, Team Leads and Operations Specialists.

The Manager will display team leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and mentoring along with the ability to inspire and build confidence in others.

The successful manager will work out of the Chinook Regional Hospital as they build key stakeholder relationships with Unit Managers to proactively solution staffing requirements across the site and zone.

The manager position offers flexible starting hours that must align with core position accountabilities and can be negotiated to suit the successful applicant.

Importantly, the manager will rely on their advanced organization and time management skills to balance the support of a busy Staffing Service Centre team and needs of operational clients that deliver critical health care services within the South Zone.

You also will bring enhanced change management and communication skills to strategize and navigate a constantly changing healthcare environment.

The manager will demonstrate the acumen and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a variety of operational stakeholders both verbally and in writing.

Knowledge of and experience in project planning and execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation.

Team leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching, and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others.

Demonstrated ability to foster partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influencing skills and client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to interact with staff and leadership from various levels within the organization.

Demonstrates a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
