Summary:
Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Sales & Marketing Support Representative role provides support to the VP and the broader Sales team in creating reports, organizing meetings, processing RFP/RFI submissions and managing vacation schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the control and coordination of commercial team activities.
- Provides planning and administrative assistance to Sales management team.
- Coordinates and executes special training and development programs to meet identified Sales and Marketing team needs.
- Collaborates closely with internal stake holders including Research & Development, Culinary, Sensory, Finance, Client Services, and Manufacturing Operations to meet and address department and customer needs.
- Prepares, analyzes, coordinates, participates in, and distributes monthly reports, new employee onboarding and segment and marketing meetings.
- Plans and coordinates trade shows, conferences, conventions, sales meetings, coating schools and training courses.
- Maintains accurate and uptodate department and customer files.
- Participates in special projects, other duties or tasks that may be assigned as required.
- Ensures the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.
- Ensures compliance with all product safety, legality, and quality requirements.
- Understands and complies with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Specialized training at a recognized community college programor university degree program (preferably in Business Administration).
- Customer service orientation and a positive demeanor
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, and some familiarity with SharePoint
- Must be able to multitask and have advanced organizational skills to meet time sensitive deadlines
- Ability to work independently and work with employees at all levels with strong attention to detail
