Location: Jack River School, Norway House, Manitoba. Start Date: As soon as possible. FTE: 1.00. Term: Term to June 30, 2026. Application Deadline: Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education Degree
• Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility)
• A sound knowledge of provincial Physical Education curricula
• Previous Physical Education teaching experience
• Willingness to participate in extra‑curricular activities
• Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life
• Strong classroom management skills
• Experience working in a northern community
• Experience working with students with unique needs
• A commitment to differentiated instruction
• A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices
• A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn
• Self‑motivated
