Inventory Controller
We are currently hiring a full-time Inventory Controller for our Bayside Distribution Warehouse.
As the Inventory Controller, you will be a part of the team that is responsible for the proper flow of our product and processes through the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Be oriented towards the wellbeing of others and their safety.
- Eagerness to learn about our operations. Our controllers are skilled in many components, and are expected to participate in crosstraining.
- Being proficient in the use computers is an asset, as we work with several systems and reporting tools. A full training session would still be provided.
- Ability to multitask and be flexible, prioritizing what needs to be done at any given time.
- Ability to work under pressure with strict time frames.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent followup skills.
- Must be a selfstarter, with strong selfmotivation.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast paced, everchanging environment.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years warehouse/yard experience.
- License to operate forklift and any other material handling equipment is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Audit material and documentation for accuracy
- Work closely with warehouse associates to achieve quality goals
- Supporting the workload daily and working together with the warehouse supervisor and team
- Warehouse location management
- Work well in a fastpaced environment
- Monitor inventory levels of product
- Operate a forklift
- Perform other duties as required
