What will you be doing in this role?:

  • Provide administrative and program support for employment initiatives, including overseeing and grading various examinations to facilitate service delivery
  • Draft different forms of correspondence for clients and staff
  • Manage contracts and input data into database systems
  • Collaborate closely with unit staff to handle ministry requests and reporting obligations
  • Offer assistance in financial and budget management tasks
  • Handle office accounts payables and receivables

What are the qualifications needed for this role?:

Mandatory: You must have advanced oral and written French language skills. Your level of proficiency will be assessed prior to employment.



Communication Skills:

  • Ability to extract information from clients while maintaining confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy in interactions with the public

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of financial administration procedures, guidelines, and practices (e.g., invoice processing, budget management, inventory maintenance) and general office administration such as electronic filing systems and records management
  • Familiarity with employment services and related programs

Other Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning abilities
  • Proficient in planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks for multiple projects while managing regular duties
  • Capable of working effectively in a team environment

  • Address: 1 Bilingual English/French Temporary position for up to 12 months at 200 First Ave W, North Bay, North Region. Requires a Criminal Record Check
