About this Role


The Future Workforce function within the Organization Effectiveness and Future Workforce team, is responsible for driving enterprise alignment and coordination of the strategy and capability programs to ensure TD has the workforce needed to address future needs.

Key activities include long-term scenario planning, maturity assessments, workforce modeling, organization capability assessments and roadmaps, and transformation delivery support, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and risk/control requirements.

The mandate also includes evolving TD's Future Workplace effort to enable an effective hybrid workforce.

This role is accountable for partnering with senior HR leadership on strategy development and supporting leadership in delivery.

Our team works in close collaboration with HR leadership, CoE and Shared Services teams, and business leaders across TD to ensure effective execution and impact of our key strategies.

Reporting to the
AVP, Future Workforce, **the responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Future Workplace

  • Provide thought leadership on workplace evolution strategies, drawing insight from industry insights and changes in internal and external trends.
  • Lead ongoing monitoring and evaluation of TD's Future Workplace program and refine program where needed to enable an effective hybrid workforce and way of working.
  • Collaborate with partners across HR, Operational Risk Management and with Business/Function Planning Leads to implement improvement efforts.
Workforce Planning and Transformation

  • Support the development of an enterprise approach to strategic workforce planning, including analytics/scenario planning, support tools and templates for HR and guidance, including policies and procedures within the portfolio capabilities.
  • Support the review, prioritization, and roadmap to mature enterprise capabilities in context of large enterprise transformation programs.
  • Work in collaboration with HR leadership and partners to incorporate capability build within their programs, strategic talent plans and best practices which may include but are not limited to talent acquisition/sourcing strategies, organization design, culture, compensation, learning and workforce reskilling/transition programs.
  • Conduct regular market scans and leverage industry intelligence, drawing insight from workforce trends, competitor capabilities and evolving HR technologies to inform strategies.
  • Actively engage with HR and Business leaders to understand and address evolving business needs, business strategy and transformation activities, using feedback to strengthen our approaches, methods, and overall effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Strong communicator, with excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Post Graduate degree in Business Administration, and/or HR would be an asset
  • 6+ years of experience in HR, Business, Management Consulting with significant exposure to large business transformation initiatives preferably within the Financial Industry***Hours
