Supplier Quality Manager P&C:

Location: Vrable, SK, Country/Region: SK
About the position:

Senior Quality Manager P&C will be responsible for serial production.

The position holder will represent KA in front of the suppliers and drive necessary actions to protect KA and its customers.

His/her main target will be to create and manage action plans to reduce total supplier claims impact to KA and support plant level supplier quality operational roles with regards to proper claim handling and supplier escalations.

Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure plant SQ engineers are qualified and trained according to the specific job requirements including the internal KA processes and procedures.
To ensure accurate reporting of supplier claims globally
To follow any warranty issues / claims on suppliers to ensure quick and effective cost recovery
To report immediately to the Director SQ any significant issues or risks related to serial supplier issues
When necessary to perform other assignments in his/her sphere of qualifications and work.
Result responsible for the supplier quality performance of the BA.
Responsible to ensure supplier claim handling process within his/her BA.
Performing activities in compliance with OHS rules, fire protection and environmental protection requirements.

PERSONAL TASKS

Manage, develop and lead the team by:
report supplier quality results against the objectives on a monthly basis,

- perform follow-up activities of the status in the improvement activities,
- support and guide Plant SQ Engineers in solving open issues raised,
- evaluate the team and propose training plans,
- according to his/her field of competencies, to train the colleagues as appropriate,
- represent supplier quality in escalation meetings and other business reviews.

To complete escalated proactive and reactive supplier quality assurance activities as required by the needs of the Business Area.

Requirements:

Education Requirements

Technical engineer degree or MA.

Training in quality assurance, further training in measuring engineering, drawing interpretation, tolerances of form and position and training in auditing (certified auditor) are considered additional qualifications.

Minimum practical experience and skills

At least 10 years' experience in manufacturing industry and 5 years in quality, preferably in automotive production engineering or quality engineering.

Language proficiency_

English language - level B2 (written and spoken)

Other position requirements:_

Qualified 1st and 2nd party System (Process) Auditor

Relevant quality tools and techniques (QAP, APQP, PPAP, root cause analysis, 8D reports...)

Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, VDA

Skills of management of an international team during several years

SAP PLM - advanced

Computer skills:
Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint - advanced
