Creation's Vancouver Business Unit is looking for one Materials Associate - Inventory, to join the Operations Inventory team. The Materials Associate will ensure that inventory is well organized, properly labeled, and issued to correct people and projects.

RESPONSIBLITIES include, but not limited to:

Maintain inventory store organization & cycle count
Issue materials out of stock room & kit special projects (i.e. PCP, Sales Orders, ECN, NCR, RMA)
Work/liaise with Production, Engineers, Purchasing and Accounting
Accurately picking, counting and labeling parts for production operations according to pick lists
Troubleshooting and following up on kit shortages and inventory discrepancies
Documenting shortage information and entering data into Oracle
Auditing and reshelving returned kits
Following materials handling and ESD control procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

Twoyear relevant manufacturing experience or equivalent
Detail oriented, organized, and quality oriented
Forklift certification is a definite advantage
Able to lift items up to 40 pounds, able to safely maneuver around archived materials
Computer (excel, word) skills; Knowledge of Oracle is an asset
Positive attitude, self motivated, hard working
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Understanding and ability to identify and verify electronic values, tolerance and various manufacturer labels against project's bill of material
Strong communication skills
Previous experience in material handling is a definite asset

What you need to know:

You need to be legally eligible to work in British Columbia, Canada as fulltime employee
Available shift: Day (Monday to Friday, 7AM3:30PM)
Wage: $18.00 per hour
Work location: 8999 Fraserton Court, Burnaby, BC V5J 5H8
