    Infotek Consulting is searching for a consultant to play a pivotal role in the Digital space - this is a hybrid contract based in Toronto (18 months)

    PURPOSE:

    In this position you will play a critical role in defining and managing the creation, ongoing evolution and internal and external consumption strategy of our IS data assets.

    You will lead discussions in collaboration with Data Engineering, business development, product, client success, operations teams and internal stakeholders in line with our strategic objectives for an 'intelligent data' enabled 'leading integrated investment services platform'.

    You will provide the vision, understand connective points across data assets, encourage collaboration to drive adoption of our digital tools enabling employee empowerment and optimizing our client experience.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage, define, deliver and establish IS data assets as a key enabler for our business and clients
    • Span business and product silos to establish holistic, firm wide views backed by data assets
    • Empower our employees by organising and democratising IS data – making it accessible and useful through our new data repository
    • Work with clients (partner, coverage, mid market) to better understand their need and use for data services
    • Drive the right conversations between our client expectations and delivery teams to drive digital solutions
    • Partner with internal stakeholders such as Data Engineering, Client Success, and Client Solutions
    • Assess technical, financial and strategic capabilities of internal and external tools and technologies in conjuction with other members of the data management office
    • Continue to act as a feedback mechanism to client requirements and market demands
    • Support the adoption of data capabilities across IS clients

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    • Over 5 years of business and IT experience in securities services, data innovation, client engagement management and design
    • Good understanding of the bank's product range e.g. Fund Accounting, Custody, Middle Office, Shareholder Services etc
    • Degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Science or Engineering
    • Confidence to engage with and challenge our clients
    • Ability to build and sustain strong external and internal relationships and connect across silos
    • Experience with market relating to data tools and technologies
    • Experience driving large stakeholder engagement and gaining alignment across difficult conversations
