Laser Metal Profiles Ltd is a state-of-the-art facility that specializes in Laser Cutting, Plasma Oxy-fuel Cutting, Forming, Machining and Welding(CWB Certified).


Experience as a Shipper Receiver will require:

  • 3-5 years Shipping/Receiving preferably working in the steel industry
  • 35 years Forklift and Overhead Crane operation.
  • Ability to inspect Work orders for Quality and Completion before packaging
  • Understand BOL's and match to PO's when raw material arrives
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to selfmanage priorities and adapt to order changes, rush's
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Schedule third party shipments and preparation of all bills, invoices and other documentation
  • Assemble containers, crates and skids to be shipped, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions.
  • Loading and unloading materials and parts from truck using crane and forklift
  • Proper storage, tagging, and organization of all parts and raw material on the shop floor
  • Inspect and verify incoming parts against Purchase Order's and Bill of Ladings.
  • Record shortages and reject damaged parts
  • Tag and allocate material properly as it's received in the building
  • Maintain internal recordkeeping systems.
  • Ensure the shipping, staging, and loading areas are maintained safely and kept clean
  • Maintaining adequate stock of shipping supplies
