We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of functional programming expert to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.

Typical Day in Role:

Your primary responsibility will be delivering solutions to the FICC business.
Example projects:
Development of models to optimize autopricing, quoting and hedging of bonds on electronic platforms

- simulation of pricing and hedging models against historical data
- analysis and modelling of client behaviour
- analysis and development of models to optimize hedge execution in CLOB markets
- futures execution optimization

Architecture, design, coding in a functional style in Scala

1. 2+ years of experience with Scala (or equivalent functional programming language) is required

Experience of some or all of fs2, monix, zio, pulsar, akka, cats, shapeless etc. to come and help lead the effort to re-architect, design and develop our next generation infrastructure
Solid computer science foundation and excellent mathematical skills

Fixed term contract

Salary:
$90.00-$120.00 per hour
