THE ROLE

  • Develop activities and marketcompetitive experiential learning programs
  • Develop schedules for all boarding programs
  • Coordinate all related logistics and ensure safe and comprehensive trips organization and planning
  • Collaborate with internal management to recruit, train, and manage seasonal staff
  • Develop procedures and protocols for summer boarding staff in collaboration with the Director
  • Plan and coordinate onsite events and offsite excursions
  • Coordinate logistics related to airport pickups and dropoffs, and campus arrivals and departures
  • Respond to international inquiries for camp programs
  • Ensure the daily functioning of boarding programs, including effective supervision and emergency response as well as overseeing all health and safety concerns
  • Act as a key resource for summer boarding students and their parents, answering queries prior to and during the program sessions
  • Attend all relevant events, functions and fairs that support the summer program
  • Be available oncall 247 for boarding life throughout the summer, based on a rotating call schedule
  • Assist with managing budgets
  • Assist with updating the Ancillary Activities website and social media site

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Training and work experience building relationships with students and teachers
  • Excellent administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A second language is considered an asset
  • Valid Ontario driver's license to transport students
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents and students
  • Proven collaborative skills
