Job Summary:
Supporting the Senior Sales Support Specialist with relationship management responsibilities. Duties include processing quotes and order requests.


Major Tasks, Responsibilities,
and Key Accountabilities

  • Provide product pricing by consulting the pricing matrix and other resources to determine the appropriate price.
  • Works with Senior Sales Support Specialist and National Accounts Manager to facilitate the expansion of the Company's products and services.
  • Daily execution of all customer requests, including but not limited to quote entry, order entry, PODs, SDS when required, order returns and order expediting.
  • Responsible for ensuring delivery execution, and order status. B/O update communications for assigned Key Accounts.
  • Shares sales leads with Program Managers.

Nature and Scope

  • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
  • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with welldefined policies, procedures, and techniques.
  • Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 25 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using some excel and ERP system SX.e
  • Multitasking and attention to detail
  • Minimum 1 year industry experience or Whitecap branch preferred.
