Description
Responsibilities for manufacturing supervisor

  • Manages process improvement and optimization


  • Administrative

  • Conducts Team Members' performance evaluations, and monitors their behavior and task performance
  • Actively develops employees to ensure continuous professional growth, employee engagement, and job satisfaction
  • Reviews and approves team members' timesheets, updates UltiPro as needed for changes, and informs P&C Services of status changes
  • Oversees process areas performance with regards to process deviations in scrap, rework, and defects that affect COPQ (cost of poor quality)
  • Ensures good housekeeping standards through 5S concepts and practices in assigned process area
  • Understanding of and commitment toward the use of Lean tools including 5S, Standard Work, Job Cards with a Continuous Improvement mindset at all times
  • Works with Process Leads to ensure Manufacturing Order accuracy in material and labor consumption giving support to labor postings, BOM to build accuracy, spare part and NCR process adherence
  • Monitors first line preventative maintenance into daily activities
  • Participate in all aspects of personnel management (interviewing, training
Qualifications for manufacturing supervisor

  • Ability to be able to handle multiple priorities and complex problems under time constraints
  • Ability to deal effectively with differences of opinion, to influence, to draw ideas from others, and to negotiate and mediate
  • ISO and Total Quality management experience
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and issues in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work with employees and customers in a multicultural, global team environment
  • 5+ years of manufacturing supervisor, scheduling/planning experience, Aerospace Industry preferred

Pay:
$20.53-$33.28 per hour
