Job Description:


This will be a remote / virtual position that can be based from a variety of locations in the US or Canada.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Serve as a go-to IT systems analyst (SME) for business partners across our global operations for SmartRecruiters Recruiting Management system and its integrations with Workday HCM.
  • Analyze business requirements and functional change requests, negotiate priorities and timeframes.
  • Identify omissions and errors in requirements and recommend optimum approach or alternative solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate the impact of proposed or requested changes.
  • Prepare various testing documentation (unit testing, user acceptance, etc.); perform testing on systems configuration, development, and integration changes.
  • Ensure business acceptance / sign offs are obtained and documented.
  • Develop and document training materials, coordinate training or knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Proactively monitor systems interfaces and integrations, identify issues, identify and action resolution.
  • Develop and perform system change audits; identify and ensure corrective actions are made.
  • Maintain system related requirements and technical documentation.
  • Monitor and assist with impact analysis with up/down stream systems.
  • Identify, recommend, and track opportunities for process and operational improvements.

Qualifications:


Minimum Requirements:


  • Experience in supporting system interfaces including ETL and integrations.
  • Experience designing and documenting business process workflows, business requirements documents, and test cases.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated use of the principles, practices, and techniques used in information technology design and development.
  • Ability to work autonomously under broad supervision is a must
  • Highly analytical with ability to ask further investigating questions.
  • Strong data analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Management Information Systems, or IT related fields.
  • Experience with SmartRecruiters, or similar applicant tracking or recruiting management systems
  • Experience with Workday HCM preferred.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting management processes, the modern HR environment, and its challenges.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Experience in implementing and managing data cleansing and migration projects.
  • Experience in working across large projects or directly managing small to medium projects.
  • Knowledge and experience with common programming languages.
  • Ability to succinctly paraphrase and articulate complex issues.
  • Experience supporting global organizations with multiple business groups requiring foreign country localizations.
  • Self-motivating with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $65,000 - $100,000. _Please note that this role can be based anywhere in Canada and compensation data will vary in each location._
