    Face Shovel Operator

    The Greenstone Mine is one of Canada's largest open-pit gold mines, with annual production expected to average nearly 400,000 ounces of gold per year for an initial 14-year mine life.

    As a Face Shovel Operator at the Greenstone Gold Mines LP, you will be responsible for safely and productively operating a 600-ton face shovel.

    • Safely operate the face shovel in accordance with all relevant legislation, company policies and procedures
    • Perform pre-operational checks and walk-around inspections before, during, and after every shift
    • Conduct logbooks and daily reports on delays, productions, safety issues use two-way radio horn signals to communicate with other operators ensure safety
