This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented, team player to use their office management expertise at our central office in Oakville, Ontario.
We are looking for someone who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and leverage their excellent organizational and communication skills to oversee the operations of our office and provide administrative support to the leadership team.
**Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to the Executive Leadership team, including calendar management, travel booking, expense management, catering, and other requirements- Offer strong customer support by greeting all visitors and directing them as necessary for meetings or appointments, answering and directing phone calls, and serving as a main point of contact for our office
- Oversee and support the administrative duties in the central office such as coordinate office supply purchasing, including maintaining and monitoring inventory (coffee, tea, and beverages, toner and copier, paper stock, office supplies, etc.)
- Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, conducting research, and creating reports
- Work with the People & Culture team to develop and implement office policies and other ongoing projects
- Support the People & Culture team with HR projects and recruitment activities
- Actively participates in the planning and execution of company events
- Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in office management and administration support in a fastpaced corporate environment
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Strong computer proficiency with experience in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- High level of accountability
- Enthusiastic and friendly, with a demonstrated customercentric orientation and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Corporate professional demeanor
- Selfdirected with the ability to operate with mínimal direct supervision
- Detail oriented with the capability to proof and edit documents for accuracy
- Ability to analyze and problem solve various issues of a time sensitive or confidential nature
