is a London based garment manufacturer where we develop and manufacture a range of fashion, apparel and soft goods from concept to finished products for in-house product lines and for other fashion brands, in alignment with our sustainable mission.

We are looking for a Garment Technician for a full-time position. This role is a mix of product development and a production assistant. You will work closely with the designer and production manager on a variety of products in a fast-paced environment. Experience with garment construction is essential. You must have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, have a high level of attention to detail and organisation. You are a motivated person whom takes initiative and is results oriented. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:


  • Work with our designers to manage the process of sample making, analysing garment quality inside and out, updating tech packs, sourcing materials, working with the cutting and sewing departments to have all things ready for a production run.
  • Day to day management of product development and production issues
  • Collaborate with sample makers to determine the best construction and finishes that fit our customer needs and price points while maintaining the design integrity and functionality of the garment.
  • Assist designers and merchandiser in fittings, taking notes on changes
  • Works with Quality Manager to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Works closely with the development team to implement, review and troubleshoot manufacturing processes as production demand increases.
  • Updating tech packs with construction changes, bill of materials, specs
  • Create technical flat drawings and garment details
  • Track inventory on all trims, notions and labels needed for production
  • Assists designers in production prepping, do we have all supplies?
  • Be an effective team member that can positively motivate others, and is always courteous and respectful

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • College or degree within the apparel industry including fashion design
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in technical design, product development or related
  • Strong working knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, fit and pattern development
  • Proficient in Word & Excel, G Suite, Adobe Illustrator
  • Highly organised, analytical and detail oriented professional
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver results with excellent followthrough
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be flexible and able to take direction and have willingness to learn
  • Respect for confidentiality practices

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
