Looking for an experienced painter in the Edmonton / Leduc area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
  • Make onsite preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
  • Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
  • Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material
  • Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
  • Managing a job site
  • Fine finish work
  • Positive attitude

  • Good with heights.
  • Adaptable
  • Willing to learn new things
  • Able to work alone.


Asset if you have full knowledge of how to spray, clean the sprayer and all the ins and outs associated with it.


  • Set yourself apart if you can:
  • Cabinetry paint is an asset.
  • Carpentry experience is an asset.
  • Mudding and taping new drywall is an asset.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle.

Salary:
$22.00-$29.53 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- painting: 3 years (preferred)
