Little Flower Academy is seeking applicants for the position of Library Technician.

This is a part-time position (approximately 21 hours/week) commencing September 1, 2024.

Responsibilities :

Help to foster a warm, inclusive school library environment for students and staff.

Assist patrons with item circulation and library account management.

Catalogue and physically process new materials.

Help to facilitate extracurricular activities and library programs.

Work alongside the librarian to help patrons with readers' advisory and reference questions.

Promote the collection by creating displays and booklists.

Aid librarian with collection maintenance tasks such as weeding and inventory.

Order supplies for the library.

Support the Catholic character of the school.

Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Diploma from a recognized Library Technician program or equivalent.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience using Destiny ILS or equivalent.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:

$ $31.00 per hour. Comprehensive benefits package.
