Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
• Prepare and package medications for distribution
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Enter prescription information into computer systems accurately
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing and organizing paperwork
• Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines

Skills:

• Medication administration: Knowledge of proper medication administration techniques and dosage calculations.
• Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care to patients and address their concerns.
• Pharmacy technician: Familiarity with pharmacy operations and procedures.
• Hospital: Understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of working in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Medical terminology: Proficiency in medical terminology to accurately communicate with healthcare professionals.
