Responsibilities:

What your days look like as a Dredge operator:

Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, hazard identification, near miss and incident reporting, procedures and safety analysis, and other attachments, tower sheets, etc.
Operates and Maintains dredges.
Mobilization and Demobilization of dredging and dewatering equipment.
Performs general duties required to complete work.
Completes all required paperwork.
Follow Preventative Maintenance Inspection Programs and complete related tasks.
Operates, monitors, and controls process levels, temperatures, pressures and flows for applicable processes and systems in a safe and efficient manner.
Comprehensive knowledge of executing dredging methods in an efficient manner.

Qualifications:

To succeed as a Dredge operator, you must have:

Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive, Fall Protection and CSTS certificates
Willing to travel. 35 weeks
Class 5 Driver's License
Experience operating frontend loaders, wheel loaders, or telehandlers.
Previous centrifuge operating, as well as dredging experience, is an asset.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, as well as equipment.
Ability to perform physical tasks safely
